From 12 May 2020, all employers must establish a system to implement the Safe Management Measures (SMM) to provide a safe working environment and minimise risks of COVID-19 outbreaks. These measures should be in place before operations can be resumed at the workplace and in a sustainable manner for as long as necessary.

1. Develop and implement a Safe Management Plan that is aligned to the COVID-19 Safe Management Guidelines for relevant Sector,

2. Ensure that the entire organisation, from management to rank-and-file employees, is familiar and comply with the Safe Management Plan,

3. Take appropriate corrective and preventive actions and continually improve the effectiveness of the Safe Management Plan.
